Home Bidders Hub — Connect with Licensed Contractors

1. Platform Description

Home Bidders Hub ("we," "us," or "our") operates an online marketplace that connects homeowners with licensed contractors. Home Bidders Hub is a technology platform and matching service only. We do not employ contractors, perform any home improvement work, supervise any projects, or guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any work performed.

2. Independent Contractors

All contractors who list services on Home Bidders Hub are independent professionals, not employees, agents, or partners of Home Bidders Hub. Home Bidders Hub does not control how contractors perform their work, set prices, or interact with clients. Any agreement entered into between a homeowner and a contractor is solely between those parties.

3. License Verification

Home Bidders Hub may display contractor license numbers as provided by contractors, but does not independently verify the accuracy, validity, or current status of any license. Homeowners are strongly encouraged to verify contractor licenses directly with the California State License Board (CSLB) at cslb.ca.gov before hiring any contractor. Under California law (Business and Professions Code §7028), it is illegal to perform contracting work without a valid CSLB license for projects exceeding $500.

4. No Warranties

Home Bidders Hub makes no representations or warranties regarding the quality, suitability, safety, reliability, or legality of any contractor, bid, or work performed. Use of this platform is at your sole risk. Home Bidders Hub is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind.

5. Platform Fees

Home Bidders Hub charges a platform success fee of 2.5% on the awarded bid amount, collected from the contractor upon job award. Home Bidders Hub may also offer contact unlock features at tiered pricing ($39–$59 depending on job size). All fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Home Bidders Hub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation property damage, personal injury, or financial loss arising from your use of the platform or any services obtained through it.

7. User Conduct

Users agree not to post false or misleading information, impersonate others, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the platform in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations. Violations may result in immediate account termination.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
