We use your information to operate the platform, match homeowners with contractors, process payments, send notifications, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Information Sharing
Homeowner addresses are only shared with contractors who are awarded a job. Contractor license numbers and public profile information are visible to all users. We share data with service providers (Supabase, Stripe, Anthropic) only as necessary to operate the platform.
4. Address Privacy
Your full property address is never shown publicly. Only city and ZIP code are displayed in job listings. Your full address is revealed only to the contractor you choose to award the job.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure database access controls, and row-level security policies. No system is 100% secure; please use strong passwords.
6. Cookies
We use cookies for authentication sessions and basic analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this may affect platform functionality.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at privacy@homebidders.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children
Our platform is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
